Trans Pride Picnic

Local community group Ketts Rebellion will be hosting a trans pride picnic this year for those who would like to celebrate and may not wish to or be able to travel to London. To be held at Eton Park on the 9th of July 12pm-6pm, we’re thrilled to see an accessible event for local trans, gender diverse and gender non-conforming people! completely free and easy to get to, they have selected this park as it has disabled access toilets easily on hand and flat wide paths to make travelling easier. the day will hopefully be filled with joy and community.

There will be local groups in attendance with blanket stalls for people to visit and get information on local services and activism, and there are activities planned such as zine and protest sign making, and there will be performance opportunities to anyone who would like to give a speech, perform a poem or sing!
local organiser Jasper says “After finding transphobic flyers on my car and my street, there is nothing more powerful than coming together to celebrate ourselves in the face of those who would deny us. this event is about celebrating our existence so we can continue fighting for our liberation!”

We hop to see you there!
